While there has always been a need to show the value of our investments, the current economic climate has created an even greater demand for talent development professionals to prove the value of their programs, projects, and initiatives. Executives, funders, and sponsors can be heard saying, "Show Me the Money" before considering a new program, leaving program owners faced with the challenge of credibly and rationally forecasting the ROI to secure project approval.

This session will explain how to forecast ROI using credible sources and a set of conservative standards. The ROI Methodology previewed in this session is used to forecast up to six types of data, including the financial ROI. When forecasting, the objective is to be realistic—but conservative and use the data to secure project approval.

Jack has received several awards for his books and work. The American Society for Training and Development gave him the award, Distinguished Contribution to Workplace Learning and Development, and the Thought Leader Award (its highest award).
